Working with Bee Magic and Honey in August

Bees are nature’s tireless alchemists, buzzing with vitality, wisdom, and magic, especially in the golden month of August. Emerging from their hives under the summer sun, they captivate us with their industrious dance, their honeyed gifts, and their sacred connection to the cycles of life and death. In many traditions, bees are revered as messengers between the earthly and the divine, embodying the energy of community, abundance, and transformation. August, with its warm fields and blooming wildflowers, is the perfect time to work with bee magic and honey, tapping into their ancient lore to heal, manifest, and align with the spirit of the season. Join me on a honey-sweet journey through history, symbolism, and ritual as we explore the mystical power of bees and honey this August!

What Are Bees?

Before we dive into the buzzing depths of bee magic, let’s explore what bees truly are. Bees are social insects belonging to the Apidae family, known for their complex hives, intricate communication through the waggle dance, and the production of honey and beeswax. Found in meadows, gardens, and forests worldwide, bees thrive in August’s abundant nectar flows, symbolizing the peak of summer’s fertility. Their industrious nature and golden offerings hold a magic that has been honored across cultures for millennia, from ancient rituals to modern witchcraft.

Fun Facts About Bees:

  • Bees communicate direction and distance to food sources through a precise waggle dance, a marvel of natural intelligence.
  • The oldest known bee fossil, discovered in amber, dates back 100 million years to the Cretaceous period.
  • A single beehive can produce up to 60 pounds of honey in a season, a testament to their collective effort.
  • Beeswax, secreted by worker bees, has been used for candles, art, and sealing since ancient times.
  • The queen bee can lay up to 2,000 eggs per day, embodying fertility and leadership.
  • Some bee species, like the stingless Melipona, are revered in Mayan culture for their sacred honey.
  • Honey never spoils, with sealed pots found in Egyptian tombs still edible after 3,000 years!

The Magic of August: A Season of Buzzing Energy

August is a magical month, aligned with the height of summer’s warmth and the earth’s generous harvest. Bee magic in August harnesses this energy to inspire community, abundance, and transformation. Bees are more than pollinators—they’re living symbols of cooperation, resilience, and the sweet rewards of hard work, reflecting the cycle of life from flower to hive. Working with them in August amplifies their power, connecting us to the divine feminine, the spirit of the land, and the creative force of nature.

Bee Magic and Honey Across Cultures

Bees and honey have buzzed into the spiritual practices of countless cultures, each with unique interpretations and uses.

  • Ancient Egypt (circa 3000 BC): Egyptians revered bees as symbols of royalty and the soul, associating them with the goddess Neith, protector of the pharaohs. Honey was used in mummification, offerings to the gods, and as a sacred elixir, believed to preserve life and connect the living to the afterlife. Bee motifs adorned royal tombs, signifying immortality.
  • Greek Mythology (circa 1200 BC): In Greece, bees were linked to the god Apollo and the priestesses at Delphi, known as the “Delphic Bees,” who channeled divine prophecies. Honey was considered ambrosia, the food of the gods, symbolizing wisdom and immortality, while bees represented the soul’s journey.
  • Celtic Traditions (Iron Age to Early Medieval): The Celts saw bees as messengers of the Otherworld, their hives a gateway to the fae. Honey mead was a sacred drink in rituals, believed to grant poetic inspiration and connect warriors to the divine, especially during Lughnasadh in late summer.
  • Mayan Culture (Pre-Columbian Mesoamerica): The Maya worshipped the Melipona bee, calling its stingless honey “food of the gods.” Priests used it in ceremonies to honor Ah Mucen Kab, the bee god, believing it brought rain, fertility, and communication with the spirit world.
  • Hindu Tradition (Ancient India): In Vedic texts, bees are associated with Bhramari Devi, the bee goddess, symbolizing transformation and protection. Honey is offered in rituals to invoke her blessings for health and prosperity, seen as a bridge between human and divine energies.
  • African Traditions (Various Tribes): In some West African cultures, bees are tied to ancestral spirits, their hives considered sacred homes. Honey is used in libations to honor the dead, blending sweetness with the underworld’s mysteries, a duality revered in rituals.
  • Slavic Folklore (Eastern Europe): Bees were seen as souls of the departed in Slavic lore, their hives guarded by spirits. Honey was offered to appease these ancestors, believed to ensure a bountiful harvest and protect the community from harm.

The Power of Transformation Through Bees

Bees teach us transformation, mirroring their journey from larvae to workers, drones, and queens within the hive. Just as they transform nectar into honey, we’re invited to alchemize our efforts into sweet rewards. In August, this process aligns with the season’s energy, encouraging us to release stagnation and buzz into our authentic power. Working with bee magic and honey can heal emotional wounds, attract prosperity, and foster community, much like the hive’s harmonious dance.

The Healing Essence of Bees and Honey

Bees and honey have long been emblems of healing, their gifts used in herbalism and spiritual practices. Honey soothes the throat, boosts immunity, and promotes emotional warmth, while propolis (bee glue) fights infection. In folklore, bees were thought to carry healing vibrations, their hum a balm for the spirit. This healing power connects to the divine feminine and masculine, where bees embody industriousness and honey reflects nurturing energy, making them perfect allies in August’s magical work.

Bee Magic, Honey, and Duality

With their industrious buzz and golden honey, bees and honey evoke a profound duality—sweetness and the underworld, abundance and sacrifice. Honey’s sweetness draws love and prosperity, a nectar of life that nourishes body and soul. Yet, its connection to the afterlife—through mummification, ancestral offerings, and the bee as a psychopomp—links it to the underworld, a bridge between realms. This duality mirrors the hive’s balance of labor and harmony, teaching us to embrace both light and shadow. In August, this energy invites us to alchemize our struggles into abundance while honoring the mysteries beneath.

Bees and Honey in Myths and Lore

Bees and honey have woven their magic into myths and stories across time:

  • The Bee and Demeter (Greek): In Greek mythology, bees were sacred to Demeter, goddess of agriculture. When her daughter Persephone was abducted to the underworld, bees carried messages between the realms, symbolizing hope and the cycle of life and death. Honey was offered to ease Persephone’s return.
  • The Bee Priestess and Artemis (Greek): Artemis, goddess of the wild, was served by bee priestesses who used honey in rites to honor her fertility. Bees were seen as her attendants, their stings a reminder of nature’s dual nature—nurturing yet fierce.
  • The Honey of Melek Taus (Yezidi): In Yezidi tradition, the Peacock Angel, Melek Taus, created bees to produce honey as a gift to humanity. This honey was both a blessing of abundance and a key to spiritual enlightenment, reflecting divine duality.
  • The Bee and Vishnu (Hindu): Vishnu, the preserver, took the form of a bee (Madhu) to defeat demons, symbolizing the triumph of light over darkness. Honey from this myth is used in rituals to invoke protection and wisdom.
  • The Beehive of Bran (Celtic): In Celtic lore, the hero Bran the Blessed’s head was said to rest in a beehive after death, guarded by bees as psychopomps. Honey from this hive granted visions of the Otherworld, blending life and death.
  • The African Bee Ancestors (Zulu): Zulu mythology tells of bees as ancestors reborn, their hives portals to the spirit world. Honey offerings appease these spirits, ensuring harmony between the living and the dead.
  • The Honey Thief and Anansi (West African): Anansi, the trickster spider, stole honey from bees in Akan folklore, only to learn humility. This tale teaches the balance of taking and giving, with honey as a symbol of both reward and lesson.

These tales remind us of bees’ and honey’s role as bridges between worlds, carrying messages of abundance, transformation, and the sacred interplay of life and death.

Gods and Goddesses Associated with Bees and Honey

Bees and honey align with deities who embody their magic, offering correspondences for your practice:

  • Neith (Egyptian): Goddess of wisdom and weaving, she is linked to bees as symbols of creation and protection. Work with her using honey and beeswax.
  • Apollo (Greek): God of prophecy and the sun, he connects with bees as divine messengers. Use honey in rituals for clarity and inspiration.
  • Demeter (Greek): Goddess of harvest, she honors bees for their role in fertility. Offer honey to invoke abundance and growth.
  • Bhramari Devi (Hindu): Bee goddess of transformation, she resonates with honey for healing and protection. Use it in meditative rites.
  • Ah Mucen Kab (Mayan): Bee god of honey and rain, he is honored with stingless honey for fertility and spiritual connection.
  • Freyja (Norse): Goddess of love and magic, she associates with honey mead for passion and enchantment. Use it in love spells.
  • Melek Taus (Yezidi): Peacock Angel, creator of bees, he links honey to enlightenment and duality. Offer it for spiritual insight.

The Many Roles of Honey

  • Sweetening: Honey sweetens spells for love, harmony, and attraction, its golden flow drawing positive energy.
  • Abundance: As a product of collective effort, honey manifests prosperity, success, and material wealth.
  • Healing: Its antibacterial properties enhance physical and emotional healing, soothing the spirit.
  • Underworld Connection: Used in funerary rites and ancestral offerings, honey bridges the living and the dead.
  • Transformation: Honey alchemizes effort into reward, aiding personal growth and spiritual evolution.
  • Protection: Its sticky nature wards off negativity, sealing intentions with strength.

This duality—sweet life and shadowy death—makes honey a potent magical tool in August’s warm embrace.

  • A piece of paper and pen
  • A gold or yellow candle
  • A small bowl of water
  • A quiet space

Steps:

  1. Prepare Your Sacred Container: create a sacred space. Place the bowl of water in the center, surrounded by the honey jar and candle. Light the candle, inviting July’s energy.
  2. Set Your Intention: Write a challenge you wish to transform (e.g., “I transform doubt into confidence”) on the paper. Hold it to your heart, infusing it with your energy.
  3. Bless the Honey: Dip your finger in the honey, tasting a drop, and say:
“Spirits of the hive, bless this honey with your magic. Transform my struggles into sweet abundance.”
  4. Plant Your Transformation: Place the paper in the honey jar, visualizing your challenge dissolving into golden light. Let the candle burn for 15 minutes, focusing on your new reality.
  5. Close the Ritual: Thank the bees and spirits, saying:
“Thank you for your gifts. May my transformation bloom with the season.”
Keep the jar on your altar, adding a drop of honey daily to nurture your intent.

After your ritual, journal your experience:

  • How did the honey’s energy feel as you worked with it?

Betrayal Trauma, Cheating, and Rebuilding a Marriage After an Affair

Introduction: The Shattering Moment

As the clock ticks my heart feels the weight of an anniversary approaching—a time that once symbolized love and unity but now carries the scars of betrayal. This post is born from a deeply personal place, as my wedding anniversary looms, stirring memories of a truth that shattered my world. Betrayal trauma, the kind that comes from cheating, is a wound unlike any other. The moment you discover the infidelity, it’s as if the earth stops spinning and crumbles beneath your feet simultaneously. You hear your heart shatter, a sound so visceral it echoes in your soul. In that instant, everything you believed—every promise, every shared laugh, every quiet moment—dissolves into a mirage. The person you married becomes a stranger, their face a mask you no longer recognize. Your identity fractures; who are you if not the partner of someone you trusted? Your reality warps into a labyrinth of doubt, where truth and illusion blur.

This is not just a story of pain but a journey through it—a path I’ve walked and continue to navigate. As Kayreign, the Divine Oracle of the Gods and Keeper of Mysteries, I’ve learned that betrayal is a shadow we can alchemize into light, though the process is fraught with difficulty. This blog explores the devastation of cheating, its ripple effects on relationships and self, the possibility of rebuilding trust with practical DBT-based steps, and the pivotal choice to stay or leave. It’s a raw reflection, especially as I face my anniversary, and a guide for those standing at this crossroads.

The Devastation of Betrayal Trauma

The discovery of an affair is a seismic event. That moment when the truth lands—perhaps through a text, a confession, or an undeniable clue—feels like the universe has betrayed you alongside your partner. The world stops; time freezes as your mind races to process the unthinkable. Your heart shatters audibly, a physical ache that lingers, as if each beat is a reminder of the fracture. Everything you knew—years of building a life, sharing dreams, creating a home—suddenly isn’t real. It’s a house of cards collapsing, leaving you exposed and raw.

You look at your spouse and see a stranger. The person who vowed fidelity, who held you in the dark, is now someone you don’t know. Their actions rewrite their character in your eyes, and with it, your own identity unravels. Were you naive? Too trusting? The foundation of your reality—trust, love, security—crumbles, replaced by a fog of confusion. This is betrayal trauma, a psychological injury that cuts deeper than words can express. Studies suggest it mirrors post-traumatic stress disorder, with symptoms like hypervigilance, flashbacks, and emotional numbness. You might replay the moment endlessly, searching for signs you missed, or feel a rage that burns hotter than any spell.

Personally, the hardest blow came in a therapy session, just as I was about to reveal I was navigating this very betrayal. My therapist, unaware, said with conviction, “If I know one thing about you, it’s that you’d never stay or tolerate being cheated on.” The irony stung—here I was, mid-journey through that very struggle. That statement forced me to confront my own expectations versus my reality, a wound that took months to heal. It’s a reminder that betrayal doesn’t just come from a partner; it can echo in the voices meant to guide us.

The Ripple Effects: Relationship and Personal Impact

Betrayal trauma doesn’t stay confined to the moment of discovery; it seeps into every corner of your life. In the relationship, trust—the bedrock of intimacy—erodes. Every glance, every unanswered call, becomes a potential threat. You might question their whereabouts, their words, their love, creating a cycle of suspicion that poisons connection. Intimacy fades as vulnerability feels dangerous, and arguments flare over past hurts rather than present issues. The betrayed partner may withdraw, while the one who cheated might oscillate between guilt and defensiveness, widening the chasm.

On a personal level, the impact is profound. Self-esteem takes a hit; you might wonder if you were enough, if your worth was tied to their fidelity. Anxiety and depression can settle in, fueled by the loss of control and identity. Sleep eludes you as your mind replays the betrayal, and physical symptoms—headaches, fatigue—manifest the emotional toll. Spiritually, as someone who walks the paths of grey magic, I felt disconnected from the divine, as if the gods had turned their backs. My rituals lost their potency, my intuition dimmed, until I reclaimed my power through shadow work.

This trauma reshapes you. It can lead to hyper-independence, a shield against future hurt, or a desperate clinginess, seeking reassurance. For me, it was a battle to trust my own judgment again, to see myself as whole beyond the marriage. The journey is isolating, yet it’s a shared human experience—millions navigate this pain, each story a thread in a larger tapestry of resilience.

The Choice: Stay or Walk Away

Facing betrayal, you stand at a fork in the road: commit to rebuilding or choose to walk away. This decision is yours alone, and it’s one that demands you release the weight of others’ opinions. Friends may judge, family may push, society may whisper, but their voices cannot dictate your path. Staying means doing the hard work—fully in, not half-hearted—while leaving requires the same resolve to move forward without regret. Half-in, half-out benefits no one; it’s a purgatory of resentment and stagnation.

For the betrayed, staying is a radical act of self-love, not weakness. It’s choosing to fight for what you value, to alchemize pain into growth, but only if both partners are willing. Walking away is equally brave, a reclaiming of your sovereignty, a step toward healing on your terms. I faced this choice, torn between the love we’d built and the betrayal that scarred it. The decision wasn’t quick; it was a ritual of self-inquiry, guided by the gods, that led me to stay—for now—committing to the work with eyes wide open.

This choice reflects your values, your capacity, and your vision for the future. It’s not about proving a point but honoring your truth. Whether you stay or go, the act of deciding liberates you from external narratives, a spell of empowerment cast in the face of chaos.

Rebuilding Trust: A Possibility with DBT

Rebuilding trust after an affair is a mountain to climb, its peak often shrouded in doubt. Yet, it can be done, with intention and effort from both partners. Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), with its focus on emotional regulation, mindfulness, and interpersonal effectiveness, offers a framework to navigate this terrain. Trust isn’t rebuilt overnight; it’s a slow weave of actions, words, and vulnerability.

For the Betrayed Partner:

  • Mindfulness: Practice grounding techniques—focus on your breath or hold a stone—to stay present rather than lost in flashbacks. Acknowledge your pain without judgment.
  • Emotion Regulation: Use DBT’s “opposite action” skill. If rage surges, channel it into a journal or a safe ritual, like burning a letter, to process rather than explode.
  • Interpersonal Effectiveness: Communicate needs clearly—e.g., “I need transparency about your day”—using “DEAR MAN” (Describe, Express, Assert, Reinforce, Mindful, Appear confident, Negotiate).

For the Partner Who Cheated:

  • Radical Honesty: Share openly, even when it’s uncomfortable, to rebuild credibility. Apologize sincerely, without excuses, and follow through with actions.
  • Distress Tolerance: Use DBT’s “TIP” skills (Temperature, Intense exercise, Paced breathing) to manage guilt or shame, staying present for your partner’s healing.
  • Validation: Acknowledge your partner’s feelings—e.g., “I see how much this hurt you”—to foster safety and trust.

Together, commit to couples therapy or DBT sessions, setting boundaries like regular check-ins or transparency with devices. Consistency is key; trust grows with each honored promise. For me, these steps have been a lifeline, though the shadow of doubt lingers, requiring daily recommitment.

Personal Reflection: The Anniversary and the Therapist’s Words

As my wedding anniversary nears, this topic feels raw and urgent. It’s a time that once held joy but now mirrors the complexity of my journey. The hardest moment came in therapy, just as I prepared to share my struggle. My therapist, with confidence, said, “If I know one thing about you, it’s that you’d never stay or stand for being cheated on.” Unbeknownst to them, I was in the midst of that very battle, choosing to work through the affair. Those words cut deep, challenging my self-image and forcing me to reconcile my values with my actions.

It was a mirror held to my soul, revealing a disconnect between who I thought I was and who I was becoming. The pain of that session fueled months of shadow work, where I explored why I stayed—love, hope, or fear?—and what it meant to honor myself. This anniversary, as I light a candle for the past and future, I reflect on that growth. It’s a reminder that healing is nonlinear, a dance with the gods of resilience and truth, guiding me toward wholeness.

Practical Steps Forward

Navigating this path requires tools and community. Seek therapy—individual or couples—to process trauma and rebuild. Join support groups to share your story, reducing isolation. Practice self-care—meditation, nature walks—to reclaim your energy. For me, weaving magic into this journey—casting spells for clarity, offering prayers to the elements—has been a salve. The gods remind me that every wound holds a lesson, every scar a story of survival.

Final Thoughts: A Journey of Alchemy

Betrayal trauma is a crucible, but within it lies the potential for alchemy—turning pain into power. Whether you stay or leave, the work is yours to claim, a sacred act of self-definition. As my anniversary approaches, I hold space for the grief and the growth, trusting that the divine weaves all threads into a tapestry of meaning. A Witch’s Reflection: 10 Years of Marriage Lessons Under the Lunar Light

Blessed afternoon, my mystical kin! My heart turns inward, reflecting on a profound milestone. This Friday, June 13th, marks the 10-year anniversary of my marriage—a decade woven with love, struggle, and growth that has shaped me as a grey witch, a partner, and a mother. Today, I invite you into this sacred space to explore the top ten lessons I’ve gathered over these years, lessons etched into my soul by the cycles of life, the duality of Gemini’s energy this June, and the resilience of our bond. This journey has been a tapestry of triumphs and trials, and I share it not just to bare my truth but to honor the magic of connection that sustains us all. Let’s wander through this reflection together, my loves, as we approach this anniversary under the full moon’s gentle gaze.

Lesson 1: Marriage Isn’t 50/50—It’s a Give and Take Based on Need

Marriage, in its mystical essence, is not a ledger balanced at an equal split. For ten years, I’ve learned that it’s a dance of give and take, shifting with the tides of what each partner requires in the moment. There were days when my husband carried the weight of our dreams, his strength a shield as we navigated near homelessness, the loss of loved ones, and the terror of my near-fatal childbirth. Other times, I poured my energy into holding us together, especially after his affair shook our foundation. This lesson taught me that love isn’t about keeping score but about sensing when to offer more—be it a listening ear, a steady hand, or the courage to rebuild. It’s a spell of adaptability, cast with intention to meet each other where we stand. If you want to read more about this lesson read my previous blog here.

Lesson 2: Growing in the Same Direction Together

The path of marriage is a shared journey, and over these ten years, I’ve seen that growth must align like roots reaching for the same light. We’ve evolved from two young souls vowing forever into parents, healers, and dreamers, our directions bending toward a common vision. When we welcomed our son, our growth shifted—his laughter became our compass. Yet, the affair tested this alignment, pulling us apart until we chose to realign, planting new seeds of trust. This lesson is a ritual of checking in, ensuring our steps forward, whether through unschooling or crafting a home, move us as one under the moon’s watchful eye.

Lesson 3: Embracing the Beauty of Change Over Time

As the years have unfolded, I’ve come to cherish that we are no longer the two who stood at the altar a decade ago. The 22-year-old me, full of dreams, and the man he was, eager yet untested, have transformed into wiser, weathered souls. The birth of our son, the scars of survival, and the affair’s aftermath have sculpted us anew—and that’s a beautiful thing. This lesson whispers of acceptance, a magic that honors the lines on our faces and the depth in our eyes, seeing each change as a rune of resilience etched by time’s gentle hand.

Lesson 4: Intentional Commitment to Partner and Growth

Marriage thrives on intention, a deliberate spell cast daily. For ten years, we’ve had to choose each other—through the joy of building a life, the pain of loss, and the betrayal of the affair. Intentionality means setting aside time for connection, like our date nights that ended in that deer collision, yet still held love. It’s renewing our vows in quiet moments, committing to grow together through shadow work and shared dreams, ensuring our bond remains a sacred circle under the stars.

Lesson 5: Grace to Stumble and Fall Together

Perfection is an illusion, and these ten years have taught me to grant us grace when we fall. We’ve stumbled—through financial strain, health crises, and the affair’s fallout—yet each tumble has been a lesson in rising together. Allowing space for tears, apologies, and forgiveness, we’ve learned that falling is part of the dance, a ritual of vulnerability that strengthens our love beneath the moon’s soft light.

Lesson 6: Letting Go of the Pre-Kids Ideal

After our son arrived, I realized clinging to our pre-parenthood marriage was a futile spell. Those carefree days of spontaneity gave way to a new rhythm—nights of lullabies, days of unschooling joy. The affair added complexity, but releasing the old ideal allowed us to craft a family bond, rich with laughter and love, adapting our magic to this new chapter under the sun’s warm embrace.

Lesson 7: The Art of Mindful Communication

How we speak to each other is a sacred art. Over ten years, we’ve learned to address problems, not each other—turning arguments into rituals of resolution. The affair taught us this hardest, where personal attacks could have severed us. Instead, we focused on the breach, healing it with words of care, ensuring our communication remains a bridge, not a battleground, guided by the earth’s steady wisdom.

Lesson 8: Weeding Out the Seed of Resentment

Resentment, once planted, is a stubborn weed, and the affair sowed its deepest roots. These ten years have shown me that uprooting it requires great effort—open hearts, honest talks, and time spent in nature’s healing arms. It’s a spell of persistence, tending the garden of our love to ensure no bitterness chokes our growth, a lesson etched in the soil of our shared struggles.

Lesson 9: Cherishing Small Acts and Little Moments

The grandeur of life often overshadows the small, yet these ten years have revealed their magic. A shared glance, a kind gesture like my husband’s crafted hiking stick, or a quiet meal— these moments are the threads of our tapestry. The affair dimmed them temporarily, but rediscovering them rebuilt our joy, a gentle reminder to honor the everyday under the moon’s tender gaze.

Lesson 10: Never Ceasing to Connect

Connection is the heartbeat of marriage, and after ten years, we’ve learned never to let it fade. Through triumphs like our son’s first steps and trials like near homelessness, we’ve carved out time—date nights, moonlit walks—to truly see each other. The affair nearly severed this, but our return to connection, with intention and love, keeps our bond alive, a sacred flame tended by the stars.

The Tapestry of Our Decade

Our marriage has weathered a storm of ups and downs. The ups—building a relationship, discovering ourselves, welcoming our son—have been spells of creation, each a rune of joy. The downs—near homelessness, losing loved ones, my near-death in childbirth, and the affair’s shattering blow—tested our mettle. The affair, the most profound wound, taught us forgiveness, resilience, and the power of choice. Each trial, each triumph, has been a lesson in the alchemy of love, transforming pain into wisdom under the waxing moon.

As we approach Friday, June 13th, I reflect with gratitude. This anniversary isn’t just a marker but a celebration of a decade’s magic—messy, beautiful, and ours. How do you nurture your bonds, my loves? Share your wisdom in the comments.

Working with Flower Magic in the Month of May

Flowers are nature’s radiant messengers, blooming with beauty, fragrance, and magic, especially in the vibrant month of May. Bursting forth in the wake of spring, they captivate us with their colors and scents, drawing us into a world of transformation, love, and abundance. In many traditions, flowers are seen as bridges between the earthly and the divine, carrying the energy of growth and renewal. May, with its lush gardens and blooming fields, is the perfect time to work with flower magic, tapping into their ancient wisdom to heal, manifest, and connect with the spirit of the season. Join me on a fragrant journey through history, symbolism, and ritual as we weave flower magic into our lives this May!

What Are Flowers?

Before we dive into the mystical depths of flower magic, let’s explore what flowers truly are. Flowers are the reproductive structures of flowering plants, showcasing a dazzling array of shapes, colors, and scents. They attract pollinators like bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds, ensuring the continuation of life. Found in meadows, forests, and gardens worldwide, flowers thrive in May’s warm embrace, symbolizing the peak of spring’s fertility. Their delicate petals and potent fragrances hold a magic that has been revered across cultures for millennia.

Fun Facts About Flowers:

  • Flowers can communicate through color and scent, signaling pollinators or even warning of predators.
  • The oldest flower fossil, discovered in China, dates back 125 million years.
  • Some flowers, like the lotus, close at night and reopen with the sun, symbolizing renewal.
  • Roses have over 300 chemical compounds in their scent, making them a powerful tool in perfumery and magic.
  • Certain flowers, like marigolds, are used to dye fabrics and food, blending beauty with utility.
  • The world’s largest flower, Rafflesia arnoldii, can grow up to three feet wide and smells like rotting flesh to attract flies!
  • May’s birth flower, the lily of the valley, is associated with sweetness and humility, though it’s highly toxic if ingested.

The Magic of May: A Season of Blooming Energy

May is a magical month, aligned with Beltane’s fiery fertility and the earth’s awakening. Flower magic in May harnesses this energy to inspire growth, love, and abundance. Flowers are more than decoration—they’re living symbols of transformation, reflecting the cycle of life from bud to bloom. Working with them in May amplifies their power, connecting us to the fae, the divine feminine, and the creative force of nature. If you want to walk the flower lined paths of May more read my monthly guide here.

Flower Magic Across Cultures

Flowers have bloomed into the spiritual practices of countless cultures, each with unique interpretations and uses.

  • Ancient Egypt (circa 2500 BC): Egyptians adorned their temples and tombs with flowers like lotus and papyrus, believing they carried the soul to the afterlife. The lotus, rising pristine from muddy waters, symbolized rebirth and was offered to gods like Isis, goddess of fertility. Flowers were also used in perfumes and healing oils, traded along the Silk Road, and valued for their spiritual potency.
  • Victorian England (19th Century): The Victorians developed floriography, the language of flowers, where each bloom carried a secret meaning. Roses signified love, lavender denoted devotion, and daisies represented innocence. This practice turned flower arrangements into coded messages, blending beauty with emotional magic, and was a cultural currency among the elite.
  • Native American Traditions (Various Tribes): Many tribes, like the Cherokee and Lakota, used flowers in healing and ceremonial rites. Sunflowers symbolized strength and sustenance, while sage blossoms were burned to purify spaces. Flowers were seen as gifts from the earth, connecting humans to the spirit world, and their petals were often scattered during dances to honor the seasons.
  • Yoruba Tradition (West Africa): In Yoruba culture, flowers like hibiscus are sacred to Oshun, the goddess of love and rivers. Petals are offered in rituals to attract love, prosperity, and fertility, often floated in river waters to carry prayers to the divine. Flowers are seen as vessels of Oshun’s sweetness, bridging the human and spiritual realms.
  • Aztec Tradition (Mesoamerica, 14th–16th Century):The Aztecs revered flowers like marigolds (cempasúchil) during Día de los Muertos, using them to guide spirits back to the living world. Marigolds were scattered on altars and paths, their vibrant yellow symbolizing the sun’s life-giving energy, believed to honor Xochiquetzal, goddess of flowers and fertility.
  • Japanese Culture (Heian Period, 8th–12th Century): In Japan, hanakotoba (the language of flowers) mirrors Victorian floriography, with blooms like cherry blossoms symbolizing impermanence and beauty. Flowers are used in tea ceremonies and Shinto rituals to honor kami (spirits), reflecting purity and the transient nature of life.
  • Hindu Tradition (India, Ancient to Present): Flowers like jasmine and marigold are integral to Hindu rituals, offered to deities like Lakshmi for prosperity. Garlands are draped over statues or worn during ceremonies, symbolizing devotion and the divine’s beauty, connecting worshippers to the sacred through scent and color.

The Power of Transformation Through Blooming

Flowers teach us transformation, mirroring their journey from seed to blossom. Just as a bud opens to reveal its full beauty, we’re invited to shed old layers and embrace new growth. In May, this process aligns with the season’s energy, encouraging us to release fears and bloom into our authentic selves. Working with flower magic can heal emotional wounds, inspire creativity, and attract abundance, much like the pollinators drawn to their nectar.

The Healing Essence of Flowers

Flowers have long been emblems of healing, their essences used in herbalism and aromatherapy. Rose petals soothe the heart, chamomile calms the mind, and lavender promotes peace. In folklore, flowers like the marigold were thought to ward off evil spirits. This healing power connects to the divine feminine, where flowers embody love, intuition, and nurturing energy, making them perfect allies in May’s magical work.

Flower Magic and the Divine Feminine

With their soft curves and vibrant colors, flowers evoke the divine feminine—creativity, fertility, and life itself. In rituals, they honor goddesses like Flora (Roman goddess of flowers), Persephone (Greek queen of spring), and Freyja (Norse goddess of love). Working with flower magic in May taps into this energy, awakening our inner strength and sensual power, much like the blooming earth around us.

Flowers in Myths and Lore

Flowers have woven their magic into myths and stories across time:

  • The Rose and Aphrodite: In Greek mythology, roses sprang from Aphrodite’s tears, symbolizing love and beauty, and were used in her rituals.
  • The Lotus and Brahma: In Hindu lore, the lotus flower emerged from Vishnu’s navel, birthing Brahma, the creator god, representing purity and cosmic order.
  • The Maypole and Beltane: Celtic traditions adorned maypoles with flowers during Beltane, celebrating fertility and the union of earth and sky.
  • Narcissus and Echo:In Greek myth, the narcissus flower bloomed where the youth Narcissus died, gazing at his reflection, symbolizing vanity but also self-reflection and transformation.
  • Poinsettia and Aztec Lore: In Aztec mythology, the poinsettia’s red petals were said to be stained by the blood of a goddess who died of a broken heart, symbolizing eternal love and sacrifice.
  • Chrysanthemum and Japanese Legend: In Japanese folklore, the chrysanthemum is linked to the sun goddess Amaterasu, believed to grant longevity, and is a symbol of the imperial family, used in rituals for protection.
  • Dandelion and Celtic Wishes: Celtic lore holds that blowing dandelion seeds into the wind carries wishes to the fae, who grant them in exchange for the flower’s humble offering, symbolizing hope and dreams.

These tales remind us of flowers’ role as bridges between worlds, carrying messages of growth and connection.

Gods and Goddesses Associated with Flowers

Flowers align with deities who embody their magic, offering correspondences for your practice:

  • Flora (Roman):Goddess of flowers and spring, she oversees blooming and abundance. Work with her using roses or daisies.
  • Persephone (Greek): Queen of the underworld and spring, her energy flows through lilies and pomegranates.
  • Freyja (Norse): Goddess of love and beauty, she resonates with wildflowers and honey.
  • Oshun (Yoruba):Goddess of love and rivers, she connects with hibiscus and yellow roses, bringing sweetness and prosperity.
  • Xochiquetzal (Aztec):Goddess of flowers, beauty, and fertility, she is honored with marigolds and orchids, embodying creativity and love.
  • Blodeuwedd (Celtic): Goddess of spring and transformation, often depicted as made of flowers like meadowsweet, she symbolizes renewal and sovereignty.
  • Antheia (Greek): Goddess of flowers and floral wreaths, a companion of Aphrodite, she resonates with roses and myrtle, embodying joy and celebration.

Color Magic and the Energy of Flowers

Flowers’ vibrant hues carry their own magical meanings, tying them to color magic—a practice of harnessing colors to amplify intentions. When working with flower magic, the color of the bloom can deepen your spellwork, aligning with specific energies and emotions. Here’s what some flower colors mean in magical practice:

  • Red: Passion, love, courage, and vitality—perfect for spells of romance or empowerment (e.g., red roses for love).
  • White: Purity, protection, and spiritual clarity—ideal for cleansing and connecting with the divine (e.g., white lilies for peace).
  • Yellow: Joy, abundance, and creativity—great for manifesting prosperity and inspiration (e.g., sunflowers for success).
  • Pink: Self-love, friendship, and emotional healing—use for nurturing relationships (e.g., pink peonies for compassion).
  • Purple: Intuition, spiritual growth, and transformation—perfect for psychic work (e.g., lavender for insight).
  • Orange: Energy, enthusiasm, and attraction—use to draw opportunities (e.g., marigolds for positivity).
  • Blue: Calm, communication, and emotional balance—ideal for peace and truth (e.g., blue hydrangeas for harmony).

By choosing flowers in specific colors, you can weave color magic into your rituals, amplifying their potency with the energetic resonance of the blooms.

Flower Magic Ritual: Blossom of Intention

This May, let’s harness flower magic with a ritual to set intentions and invite abundance.

What You’ll Need:

  • Fresh flowers (e.g., roses, daisies, or lilies—choose what calls to you)
  • A small bowl of water
  • A white or green candle
  • A piece of paper and pen
  • A quiet space

Steps:

1. Prepare Your container: On a May day, create a sacred container. Place the bowl of water in the center, surrounded by your flowers. Light the candle, inviting May’s energy.

2. Set Your Intention: Write an intention on the paper—e.g., “I bloom with love and abundance this May.” Hold it to your heart, infusing it with your energy.

3. Bless the Flowers: Dip your fingers in the water, sprinkling it over the flowers, and say:

“Spirits of May, bless these blossoms with your magic. Infuse them with growth, love, and abundance.”

4. Plant Your Intention: Place the paper under the flowers, visualizing your intention blooming like a flower. Let the candle burn for 10 minutes, focusing on your desire.

5. Close the Ritual: Thank the flowers and spirits, saying:

“Thank you for your gifts. May my intention bloom with the season.”

Keep the flowers in a vase or garden, letting them nurture your intention throughout May.

  Reflection Prompts

After your ritual, journal your experience:

  • How did the flowers’ energy feel as you worked with them?
  • What emotions or insights arose during the ritual?
  • Over May, notice signs of your intention blooming—how do they manifest?
  • How can you carry this flower magic into your daily life?

Final Thoughts

As we weave flower magic into our lives this May, let’s honor the timeless wisdom of blooms—their ability to transform, heal, and connect us to the divine. From ancient rituals to modern spells, flowers bridge the earthly and spiritual, whispering lessons of growth and love. Whether you’re crafting a spell, meditating with petals, or simply admiring a garden, let their vibrant energy remind you of your own capacity to bloom. May this season fill your heart with the magic of flowers, guiding you toward abundance and renewal.

9 spells for an enchanting and magical Valentine’s Day

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, and whether you’re celebrating with a partner, friends, or basking in your own radiant self-love, why not add a touch of magic to the mix? A witchy twist can transform this love-filled day into something truly enchanting, where your intentions amplify the energy of love, connection, and passion. Let’s step beyond the ordinary chocolates and roses and dive into the mystical realm. Whether you’re casting love spells, creating sacred spaces, or brewing magical potions, this guide will help you add magic to your Valentine’s day to make more enchanting, full of love, and passionate.

What is Valentines day?

What is Valentine’s Day? St Valentine’s Day is an annual festival to celebrate romantic love, friendship and admiration. Every year on 14 February people celebrate this day by sending messages of love and affection to partners, family and friends. Historically Valentine’s day is tied to Saint Valentine. Saint Valentine was said to be a priest named Valentine who was imprisoned and beheaded by Roman Emperor Claudius II for assisting persecuted Christians and secretly marrying Christian couples in love. He even tired converting Claudius to Christianity while he was imprisoned. He was beheaded on February 14, which later became known as Valentine’s Day. To learn more about this Romantic holiday about love, passion, sex, and commitment check out my guide about it and Lupercalia HERE.

First a bit about ethics

Because, we are talking about love spells and sex magic I feel before we dive into the spells I have created here we have to talk a bit about it. Some people will tell you to never do a love spell. They will tell you that it is a manipulation to create a relationship with this magic. They will say it is taking away someone else’s free will. That very well could be. But, the way I see it is these kind of spells are there to amplify and assist, and direct energy and feelings that already exist and are there. We cannot create something out of nothing. That is universal energetic law. So, is it really taking away someone else free will or simply speeding up something that would have already happened? I won’t tell what to do. It is up to sit with these thoughts an sit in reflection and decide for yourself what you think. It is up to you to follow your intuition and decide if these types of spells will be apart of your practice.

Attraction love spell

Valentine’s day is a holiday all about honoring love, romance, and commitment. This makes it one of the best times to cast a love spell. Particularly one to attract your ideal partner and love of your life. Try this love spell today to attract that special someone you have had your eye on into your life. Keep in mind this is not meant for someone in a relationship already, this is not a break up spell.

What you will need:
A rosebud or entire rose flower
Two pieces of paper
A pink candle

How to perform:
Light your candle and on either side of it place two pieces of paper, one with your name and the other with that of the person you are attracting Chant the spell below:
“You and I will be one, in love and unity. Venus, goddess of love, listens to my plee. Let this love come to me. My heart is waiting to be loved by you (name of the person you are attracting) and with my soul dear Venus, I thank you.”
Repeat the spell 3 more times while you visualize your future partner running towards you, imagine them hugging you and telling you “I will love you forever.”
Let the candle burn while you take the papers and either wrap your rosebud in them or close the papers inside your flower petals. Than take them and bury them in the earth. As you do Recite “ From now on you and I will be united in Love as deep as the Earth.”
Once done blow out your candle and place it on your altar. For the next 3 days light it to feed the spell.

Today is one of my favorite days to put aside the shadow work, to put away the reflection, to put away working with the darkness and I focus on the love and light. This spell below, which is really more of a ritual is based on mirror work and using my favorite magical tool of all a mirror.

What you will need:
Two red candles
and red ribbon
A photo of you and a photo of your sexual partner
Herb blend:
Basil, catnip, lavender, cinnamon, rose petals, hibiscus

How to perform this spell:
Start by meditating and think intensely about making love with the person you want, if you want added magic you can masterbate as well. Next take the two candles and roll and/or anoint them with honey. Once they are covered in honey roll them in the herb blend.

Next recite” love and lust, I ask you to listen to my request to have (name of your loved one) by my side (your name).
ask you to be with my beloved and to light a fire between us. Ignite the spark. Let lust and passion drive our story and our relationship”.

For added magic you can add a deity of love, passion or lust to the spell as well.
Then take the ribbon and join the candles together with your photos, With the candles still burning repeat the magic spell again. At the end of the spell, let the candles burn out completely, then call your partner and let the explosive magic begin!
Happy casting!

Love and harmony spell

This simple spell works beautifully for couples or individuals seeking to enhance harmony and connection. This is because when we focus on harmony within our relationships we can experience a deeper Valentine’s Day by creating more peace and understanding.

What you will need:

Two pink candles (for love and harmony)
A piece of paper and pen
A few dried rose petals

How to perform:

As always get yourself into sacred container however works best for you. But, make sure you are creating a container focused on the energy of love, harmony, and peaceful connection between you and your partner. Write down your intention on the paper. For example, “I invite harmony, passion, and understanding into my relationship” or “I open myself to love that is true and fulfilling.”
Place the rose petals on the paper, fold it, and place it between the two candles. Light the candles and focus on your intention. Visualize the flame as a beacon of love, radiating positivity into your life. Let the candles burn for 10 minutes, then snuff them out (never blow them out). Keep the folded paper somewhere special.

Make Rose Water

The rose is one of my favorite witchy plants, to work with mainly due to it being so versatile. The rose really is one of those magical plants that can be used in so many ways a lot like some of my other favorites bay leaves and cinnamon. Plus, I love that I don’t have to waste any part of this plant! You can use all of it from the petals, rosehips, rosebuds, the thorns, and the stems. Roses petals have soo many magical properties as well including: beauty, love, passion, lust, peace, purification, loving memories, harmony in the household, divination, ancestral work, funerary rites and healing ! (keep in mind, these will vary depending on the COLOR of the rose too!) Which is why they are the perfect plant to work with on Valentines day! One of my favorite ways to work with them is to create some rose water.

So, what is rose water? It really is what it sounds like water infused with the magical and medicinal properties of roses into it. Rose water is commonly used in witchcraft for various purposes due to its associations with love, healing, and purification like we talked about above. It will add a magical, potent, and loving boost to any spell that calls for water.

The magic of Friday; Amplify your spells with the energy of the day

Every day of the week has it’s own magic and energy you can harness to influence your life and magical practices and in this blog series we are going to talk about them all. Next up, we are going to talk about the energy and magic you can align with on Friday. Friday is the fifth day of the week in most cultures and calendars. Others view it as the 6th day of the week while in some Muslim cultures it’s the last day.

For most Friday is the day they look forward to the most all week; since Friday is the last day of the working week, and the first day of the weekend. The word “Friday” comes from the Old English word Frīgedæg, which means “Freya’s day”. In Norse mythology, the name of the day is based on the name of either Freya, the love goddess, or Frigg, the chief goddess and Odin’s wife and the deity of marriage. In Latin, it’s called dies Veneris, which means “Venus’s day” and refers to the Roman goddess of love.

Friday is ruled by the planet Venus

For pagans and witches, every single day of the week is ruled by a planet and Friday is ruled by the planet Venus.  Venus is the second planet from the Sun, and Earth’s closest planetary neighbor. It’s the hottest planet in our solar system shrouded in clouds and often referred to as Earth’s twin. In most depictions Venus looks like a brilliant yellow-white reflective ball due to the vast amount of clouds covering its surface.

Magic and witchcraft themes

When it comes to magic and witchcraft you can certainly cast spells whenever you need them. But, if you want a little extra oomph, and when you want to amplify your results, aligning your spell casting with the correct day of the week is one way to do that. Lupercalia and Valentine’s Day; how to celebrate both as a Pagan and/or Witch

It’s February the month all about love, romance, sex, and fertility and we have two major holidays that focus on that for us to celebrate. Most people know about one of them; Valentine’s Day but, do you know where that holiday originates from? Well, that would be Lupercalia, an Ancient Roman festival for fertility and purification. Some even call it the Pagan Valentine’s Day. So, if you don’t want to get sucked into all the commercialism and Christianized holiday plus have a lot more fun and pleasure, Lupercalia is definitely the holiday for you! In this post I will walk you thru both holidays and you can pick which one is more fun to celebrate this month for yourself.

So, What is Lupercalia?

Lupercalia is an ancient Roman festival of fertility and purification. It’s celebrated from February 14th to the 15th and predates Valentine’s Day by centuries! Every year, the ancient Romans would perform rituals and then throw parties all in the name of purification. To purify the city of Rome on this festival guaranteed a good crop, plenty of pregnant ladies, and overall good health and happy people for the whole city. As with most pagan holidays, No one is really sure how far back this Roman festival really goes, but some have traced it back to the 6th century BC. And others date it back to long before Rome was a power. But many agree that It is a Shepard’s festival that was brought to Rome by Romulus and Remus.

The legend of Romulus and Remus; the myth behind Lupercalia

The legend has it that the Roman king, King Amulius, orders his twin nephews to be killed because of their mother’s broken vow of celibacy. The king ordered for them to be thrown in the Tiber River. Instead of just being tossed in- they were placed safely in a basket by a servant. The river-god is said to have carried the basket down river where it got caught in the branches of a wild fig tree. The twins were rescued by a she-wolf who lived in a den at the base of Palatine Hill.

Later, the twins were adopted by a Shepard and his wife and they learned the shepherds’ trade. After killing their uncle- King Amulius, they found the den of the she-wolf that had raised them and whose name was Lupercal.   Lupercalia is the celebration to honor both the God and the she-wolf that raised them. In addition to being linked to the wolf, Lupercalia was a “breastfeeding” festival. Specifically representing the fertility tied to the founders of Rome – Romulus and Remus needed to survive when they were thrown into the river.

Who is the god Lupercus?

Lupercus, was an ancient Roman Italian divinity, who was worshipped by shepherds as the protector of their flocks against wolves, and at the same time as the promoter of the fertility among sheep. His sanctuary was the Lupercal, where she-wolf took care of Romulus and Remus. Lupercus is sometimes identified alongside the god Pan in Greek mythology.

So, how did they celebrate Lupercalia?

Ritual sacrifice was completed by the Roman’s to start off this festival. There was a sacrifice of a goat and a dog. The goat for fertility and the dog was most likely to honor the she-wolf. The Roman priests, called Luperci, would sacrifice the goat and the dog, smear the blood on the foreheads of 2 youths and as they wiped it away with a piece of milk-soaked wool, the youths were required to laugh. After the Ritual Sacrifice, came the feast. When the feasting was over, the skin of the goat would be cut into strips or thongs (called februa). The men would then run around naked, or nearly naked, whipping women with the thongs. A lot of women welcomed the lashes as they believed it to be a fertility consecration. Getting whipped was supposed to make you fertile, so the more whippings, the more fertile you were. It was even said by visitors from other cities that the women would “bare” their skin and welcome the whippings. This part of the ritual was also a symbolic gesture of purification of the men and a symbolic purification of the land. Later, during the Lupercalia festival, men would chose women’s names from a jar and would be coupled with them for the festival. Some sources reference this as the lottery of Lupercalia. This festival was all about fertility and sex so all sorts of debauchery happened. Sometimes, they would even stay together until the next year’s festival, or even get married. Over time, the sexuality of the festival was lost until it was fully clothed men whipping women’s hands. BORING!

How did Lupercalia become Valentine’s day?

Saint Valentine was said to be a priest named Valentine who was imprisoned and beheaded by Roman Emperor Claudius II for assisting persecuted Christians and secretly marrying Christian couples in love. He even tired converting Claudius to Christianity while he was imprisoned. He was beheaded on February 14, which later became known as Valentine’s Day.  I know you are thinking, okay so how does this become Valentine’s day, well we all know the Catholic church and it doesn’t matter how long it takes they find a reason to Christianize a holiday. Well, after the Catholic church declared Valentine a saint, a pope in 494 CE, Pope Gelasius I eliminated the pagan festival of Lupercalia. He decided that February 14 would be the day to celebrate Saint Valentine, who had become known as the patron of lovers because of the couples he had married. Plus the date they picked just so happened to fall in the middle of Lupercalia that they really needed to get rid of.

How to celebrate Lupercalia

However you choose to work with the Lupercalia magic and energies make sure to follow your intuition where it leads you. Make sure you tap into the energies of fertility, renewal, purification, pleasure, and prosperity. In your everyday life, you can work with any affirmations, mantras, and visualization work for abundance, fertility, the coming spring, and community. Let’s take a look at some of the many different ways you can magically work with the energy of Lupercalia.

Cleansing & Purging
Lupercalia is in the month of February, and it was also called dies Februatus by the ancient Romans. Februatus translates to “purge”. Therefore, if you don’t want to celebrate the pagan Valentine’s Day with love-making and feasting, make it a day of cleansing and purging. Get rid of what no longer serves you in the physical realm. Including clutter in your space (think junky closets, pantries, fridge, etc.) and then cleanse the negative vibrations via smoke-cleansing. In addition, purging yourself of unwanted thoughts and harmful habits and cleansing your aura via a ritual bath or shower.

Feast on the Pagan Valentine’s Day!
Whether you have a love interest or not, Lupercalia is about celebrating what we have on this earthly plane. It’s the perfect day to throw a feast! Choose foods that are traditional Roman or Italian, red sauces, wine, and other red foods. Aphrodisiacs are appropriate if you are getting romantic with the meal including strawberries, oysters, chocolate, and dairy.

Drink Wine
The Romans were all about their wine. If you want to do Lupercalia right, you got to drink the wine. Red is best to represent love and passion. Be sure to make a toast to the ancient Romans and a fertile life before drinking the wine. Clink your glasses together to scare off the bad spirits lurking in the wine. Setting up an altar for the god of wine Dionysus or Bacchus is also appropriate whenever you have a feast with Roman influences behind it.

Fertility Rituals
Trying to conceive? Or maybe you have no desire for a baby at all. Either way, fertility isn’t just about conceiving children. It also relates to prosperity and growth of nearly any other goal in life: career success, your passions like art, etc. Lupercalia is a powerful day to do fertility spells and rituals of any kind! Some of my favorite fertility spells involve using eggs. Check out my guide here to read all about it and use some of them listed there.

Wear Red and White as a rebellion to Valentine’s day

Instead of wearing red and white to connect to valentines day you can wear it to connect to Lupercalia. You were red to represent the blood of sacrifice and the white of milk of the she wolf and goddess Rumina.

Creative Endeavors on Lupercalia
Since Lupercalia is a fertile time, creativity is given a boost in different aspects. Have you been waiting for the right time to start a new project? To learn a new skill? Engage in some sort of arts and crafts to celebrate Lupercalia and the inspiration will not flow short.

Have sex!
When in Rome, do as the Romans do. OR when it’s Lupercalia, do as the Romans do. And have sex! You can even add some sex and lust magic to spice it up a bit! I have quite a few sex magic spells on my Pinterest. Plus don’t forget to sign up and register for my Valentine’s day sex magic event to learn more about it all!

  • Light the ingredients with the candle flame, and while they’re burning, write down your love intentions on the piece of paper with the red ink pen.
  • Take the jar and add the burning ingredients and honey to it.
  • Place the rose quartz and amethyst into the jar and seal it with the lid.
  • Hold the jar in front of the mirror and say the following incantation with conviction: “By the power of love and the energies of Lupercalia, I call upon the universe to bring love and positivity into my life.”
  • Put the jar in a safe place and let the spell work its magic.

About Me : I have been a solitary grey magic practitioner for 15 + years. First and foremost, I consider myself a mystic and seeker of all knowledge. I am dedicated to the restoration, and re-enchantment of Magic in society, across this realm, and in each and every soul I come across in life! I am here to create a container that promotes healing, duality, and raw authenticity. I do this by guiding you on your personal journey to understanding your unique magic and sacred contracts. I facilitate this for you through embracing your shadow, duality and learning to live in energetic balance while not wearing a mask. When you work and learn from me you do so from your “darkness” as much as your “light” and in a way to truly harness and accept it not to just go thru it on the way to your light. But, I teach you how to truly embrace it, work with it, and use it alongside your light as a partner. I hold up a mirror for you to be able to see your authentic reflection looking back. Then have the courage to take the next step and do the uncomfortable but vital inner work to completely remove your mask. By facing all of your past wounds, traumas, and hurts. Allowing you to see both the dark and light within your story and take each chapter and alchemize it into something that is so powerful. your unique internal flame will shine so bright you will always be able to go within and find it on a dark cold night. You will learn how to truly live in duality and energetic balance to allow growth, and alignment with your sacred contracts and purposes. to finally move on and truly let the things that hold you back in this life from healing and manifesting go. To see everything I offer; like personalized shadow work sessions, womb healing, eBooks for you to work through on your own, Tarot sessions for guidance and more! Go to my shop!
